Bathroom and kitchen outlets just stopped working
Quick check first: look for an outlet with Test and Reset buttons, often in the bathroom or by the sink. Press Reset firmly. Want to try it, or should I get an electrician out?
pressed it, nothing
Thanks for trying. I’ll find a licensed local electrician and text you once there’s a time.

Sound familiar?

You shouldn’t have to call around for an electrician.

Nobody calls back.

You leave a few voicemails and wait, and meanwhile there’s an extension cord running across the kitchen.

It feels too small to bother anyone.

One dead outlet or a flickering light sits for months. Text us about it anyway. Sometimes it’s a reset button, and if it’s not, we find you an electrician.

You’re not sure it’s safe.

A warm switch plate or a breaker that won’t stay on is worth a real look. Text Eva a photo and let us get the right person out.

How it works

You text. We find the electrician.

1

Tell Eva what’s going on

A sentence and a photo is plenty. “Breaker keeps tripping.” “Porch light won’t turn on.” You don’t need to know what it is.

2

Quick check or a pro: you pick

Some things are simple, like a tripped breaker or a GFCI outlet that needs a reset, and Eva can walk you through them in a couple of minutes. Rather not? Say “send someone” at any point and we find you a licensed and insured local electrician.

3

We stay on it

We get the time set, check that it got fixed, and keep what happened on your house. The electrician does the work and bills you directly, at their own price.

Who does the work

We’re not the electrician. We’re the one number you text.

Texteva doesn’t do electrical work. We find you a licensed local electrician who does. Before we send anyone to a house, we look up their license with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors and see their insurance. The electrician works for you and bills you directly, and we stay on it until it’s done.

The things people ask first

“Are you an electrical company?”

No. Texteva doesn’t do electrical work. We find you a licensed and insured local electrician, get the time set, and stay on it until it’s done. The electrician does the work and bills you directly.

“Some of my outlets stopped working. What do I check first?”

Text Eva. She walks you through the safe checks first, like the breaker panel and any outlet with a Reset button, and asks for a photo. If that doesn’t do it, we find you a licensed electrician.

“I see sparks or smell something burning. What do I do?”

If there’s fire or anyone is in danger, call 911 first. Then text Eva and we find you a licensed electrician for whatever comes next.

“How do you pick the electricians you send?”

We look up each electrician’s license with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors and see their insurance before we send them to a house.

“What does it cost?”

Texting Eva is free, and your first walk-through over text is on us. Getting a pro out is free too: the pro bills you directly, at their own price.
